Core DNA Sequencing Facility

The University of Illinois Core Facility utilizes two ABI 3730XL capillary sequencers to provide customers with the most sophisticated DNA sequencing technology to date. Two service options for DNA analysis are available and include consultation for any aspect of a sequencing project. The University of Illinois Core Facility processes low-throughput (LT) and medium-throughput (MT) orders.   LT sequencing orders are defined as 1-95 sequencing reactions submitted at any one time.   MT orders are defined as 1-11 96-well plates of sequencing reactions submitted at any one time. If your project includes 12 or more plates of samples in a 3-month period, please see the High-Throughput Sequencing page for more information.
