images/dot.gif (930 bytes) The Functional Genomics Unit of the W.M. Keck Center uses high-throughput technologies for gene expression analysis. Hybridization based microarray technologies can be used to quantify gene expression levels between samples of biologically differing states for thousands of genes simultaneously. This can include comparisons between different tissues, developmental stages, drug treatments, time scale comparisons, or genomic duplication events.

Our goal is gene function analysis through expression profiling using microarray technologies.
