The W.M. Keck Center now offers high

throughput genotyping services

using the Affymetrix MegAllele System.

The Megallele genotyping system is an

innovative and highly multiplexed assay

using Molecular Inversion Probe

Technology developed at ParAllele

BioScience, Inc. The platform is a four

color upgrade of the current Affymetrix

system and uses Universal Tag Arrays

available in 3K, 5K, 10K and 25K SNP

formats. Presently Human 20K, Mouse

5K and Bovine 10K SNP panels are

commercially available. Genotyping of

other organisms is available through

Affymetrix custom Targeted Genotyping

service providing SNP sequence data is available.

The MegAllele software package enables

management of

samples, project information and the

final data clustering for genotype calls.

Genotype information may be exported

for analysis with other software. For

details and project information contact
